Summer is gone...

....and autumn has arrived here in Denmark. Though summer has its advantages, like strawberries and sunshine, autumn with all its colors is my favorite season.

With autumn comes nippy weather, hearty soups, hot chocolate and scrumptious cakes.
I don't have a fireplace in my little apartment but I do have my trusty, woolly blanket that I like to crawl under with a good book and a big piece of cake. Well, I like doing that year round...
